HTC are launching a completely new range of devices and the HTC Desire 825 is one of the fresh new additions that packs a new design and focuses on entertainment.

The device features a very interesting design at the back with a micro splash effect on its polycarbonate body. The basic shape and aesthetics remain quite similar to the HTC devices of the past but the new paint job and colours bring in a fresh appeal. The device will be available in 2 colours – Golden Graphite and Sprinkle White.

The device has a large 5.5″ 720p display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage that can be expanded by upto 2TB if you have one or can find one as big. The device comes with Android Marshmallow 6.0 with HTC Sense UI on top.

The primary camera is a 13 Megapixel BSI sensor with f2.2 aperture, 28mm focal length and Full HD 1080p video recording. At the front, the users get a 5 Megapixel camera which is also backlit and has an f2.8 aperture. The device also features HTC’s signature BoomSound speakers at the front for a superior acoustic experience and also have Hi-Res Audio and Dolby certification for better in-ear listening. It supports 4G LTE and comes with a dual NanoSIM card slot. The battery is rated at 2700 mAh and also has a microUSB port.

The device will be available for purchase starting from June at a price of Rs 18,990 through htc.com as well as other online and offline retailers.
