Vodafone India has announced that it has invested over Rs. 1000 crore to upgrade its network for more than 1 crore customers in the Delhi NCR region. ” Vodafone SuperNet 4G is available across all major work, educational, recreational and Administrative hubs in Delhi NCR including Gurgaon, Dwarka, Airport, Delhi Cantt, Vasant Vihar, Lajpat Nagar, AIIMS, Dhaula Kuan, South Ex, Azadpur, Naraina, Rajouri Garden, Punjabi Bagh, Wazir Pur, Patel Nagar, CP, Peeragarhi, Okhla, Sarita Vihar, Nehru Place, IIT – Delhi,” said the company.
Vodafone said that it has set up over 3200 sites in Delhi, upgraded its coverage of both voice and data and has added 600kms of High capacity Fibre backhaul (3000 kms of fibre till date In Delhi NCR ) in most of sites allowing mobile internet to flow without any blockage.
It has also launched Vodafone ‘U’ packs aimed at youth. These packs offer data, including night data, talktime, data loan, Vodafone Music subscription for 2 months, option to call 3 of your closest Vodafone buddies at 20p/min and more.
