We recently reported that how Motorola is preparing the launch of new Moto X Play in India soon. The device was spotted in Zauba’s listing, which revealed that a total of 80 Moto X Play test unitswere imported to Bangalore from China.

Now the company has even started teasing the launch of new Moto X smartphone on its official Twitter India account. Motorola India’s tweet was accompanied by an image showcasing the back of Moto X Play and the tweet reads, “No more getting dumped by your phone. To remind you, Motorola announced the two new Moto X devices – the Moto X Play and the Moto X Style – in the U.S. in July, same day as the Moto G (3rd Gen) launch in India. The biggest highlight of the Moto X Play is its 3630mAh battery alongside a 5.5-inch 1080p display and 21MP rear camera.

We are expecting the device to launch in India this month. As far as the pricing goes, the declared value for each imported unit was Rs. 22,228 ($350). So it is likely that the final retail price after taxes and other charges will be similar to OnePlus 2.
