LG G5 supports Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 but Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge don’t

Earlier, it was expected that if you pack the latest processor from Qualcomm, it would in effect be able to have the fast charging properties of the particular processor. However, the OnePlus 2 showed that it is possible to remove the fast charging abilities if needed.  Similarly, now it seems that Samsung have bundled only QuickCharge 2.0 with their Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge while LG’s G5 is capable of doing QuickCharge 3.0.

After showing up on Zauba and GFXBench, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro has surfaced on AnTuTu, revealing the specifications. This coincides with earlier rumors, but it doesn’t confirm if the upcoming top-end ‘A series’ smartphone will come with 6-inch screen like the A9 or a smaller 5.5-inch screen. They have now released the February security patch for their flagship products just a few weeks after the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow began rolling out for some phones.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A7 (2016) smartphone, along with the Galaxy A5 (2016) earlier this month for Rs. 33,400. We recently brought you the unboxing, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. It is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 7580 64-bit processor that has eight ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.6 GHz per core, has Mali-T720 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 5.5-inch 1080p screen and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop). Samsung begins mass production of 256GB UFS 2.0 flash memory for high-end mobile devices

Samsung today announced that it has started mass producing world’s first 256GB ultra-fast embedded flash memory based on Universal Flash Storage (UFS) 2.0 standard for next-generation high-end mobile devices, including smartphones. The company introduced the first 128GB UFS 2.0 flash memory back in February last year. UFS 2.0 promises better sequential read and write performance, closer to SSD and 50% decrease in energy consumption. LG G5 and Samsung Galaxy S7 were announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2016). Both the flagships sport high-end specifications and most importantly support for expandable storage. However, both these devices are missing an important Android Marshmallow feature.

Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge Lens Cover Hands On and Samples with swappable lenses

Samsung announced several accessories along with the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge flagship smartphone, the Lens Cover is one among those. These swappable lenses come in two types – one is the telephoto lens and the other one is a wide-angle lens. These are similar to olloclip that is available for iPhone, but these have better optics and also requires a separate case. Check out our hands-on with these lenses and also some samples.
