Samsung 870 QVO SSD with up to 8TB storage announced

Samsung Electronics has unveiled the 870 QVO SSD its new consumer solid state drive (SSD) line up. It comes with up to eight terabytes (TB) of storage capacity and is built on the company’s second-generation quad-level cell (QLC) technology. It promises sequential read and write speeds of up to 560 MB/s and 530 MB/s and Random Read and Write Speed up to IOPS 98K and 88K, respectively. Samsung Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy Buds+ BTS Editions, Galaxy S20 Ultra Cloud White variant to go on sale in India from July 10

Samsung has announced the BTS Editions of Galaxy S20+ and the Galaxy Buds+ wireless headset will be priced Rs. 87,999 and Rs. 14,990, respectively in India. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra also gets a new Cloud White variant that will be available in limited quantity priced at Rs. 97,999. These will go on sale from July 10th, and pre-orders start from tomorrow, July 1st till July 9th. Samsung launches The Serif and 2020 QLED 8K TVs in India starting from Rs. 83900

Samsung has announced the launch of two new premium TV lineups, The Serif and the 2020 8K QLED TV. The Serif features a unique uni-body “I” shaped design, Quantum Dot Technology, Active Voice Amplifier (AVA) and more. The Samsung QLED 8K TVs feature Real 8K Resolution, 8K AI Upscaling, Quantum Processor 8K and more.

Samsung Care+ launched in India; offers protection against accidental, physical and liquid damage

Samsung, in partnership with Servify, has officially launched its Samsung Care+ program for Galaxy smartphone users across India. When active, the program will offer a protection plan against accidental, physical and liquid damage and also technical/mechanical failure.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Note10 Lite smartphone in India back in January starting  at Rs. 38999, later in April the phone got a price hike to Rs. Rs. 41,000 after 6% GST hike for mobile phones in the county, later to Rs. 41,999. Today the company has announced a permanent price cut for the phone in the country. The 6GB RAM version is now available for Rs. 37999  and the 8GB RAM variant is available at Rs. 39999 after a Rs. 4000 price cut. Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 gets blood pressure monitoring in Health Monitor app starting from South Korea

Samsung has officially launched Samsung Health Monitor app for users of the  Galaxy Watch Active 2 in South Korea. The feature was first announced back in April, after Samsung received certification from South Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) to release an over-the-counter and cuffless blood pressure monitoring application.

After leaks Samsung has finally announced the BTS Editions of Galaxy S20+ 5G and S20+ smartphones and the Galaxy Buds+ wireless headset. These feature a purple glass and metal exterior. The Galaxy Buds+ BTS Edition and Buds+ charging case, also available in purple, carry the band’s logo and purple heart iconography. Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 said to feature 7.7-inch 120Hz display, 6.23-inch cover display

Rumours of the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Fold have begun surfacing and this time, we have got news about the display specifications of the device. The Galaxy Fold 2 is said to feature a 120 Hz 7.7-inch display on the inside and a 6.23-inch display on the outside. Samsung’s virtual Unpacked event is set for August 5 where the company is expected to announce the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip 5G smartphones.
