The slimmer and refined 3D smartphone from LG the Optimus 3D Max will start rolling-out in Europe starting from today. The phone was first showcased at MWC 2012 earlier this year in February. The original Optimus 3D phone was a bit bulky and about 12mm thick. LG have managed to shave more than 2mm off the Optimus 3D as the 3D Max is just 9.6mm thick. It is also lighter at 148 grams. Sprint has announced the pricing and pre-order availability date for the LG Viper, their first 4G LTE capable device that is also Eco-friendly. It has 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) touch screen display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Gameloft has partnered with LG once again to bring several Stereoscopic 3D games for the upcoming LG Optimus 3D Max smartphone. LG has launched the Optimus Vu in Korea that was announced before the MWC. It comes with a 5-inch (1024×768 Pixels) IPS Display with 4:3 Aspect Ratio and 650 nits brightness. It is powered by 1.5 GHz Dual Core Snapdragon Processor and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread (Upgradeable to 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich within 3 Months). It is 8.5mm thick and weighs 168g. The LG Optimus L3 has 3.2-inch display and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It is powered by 800MHz Processor and has 384MB RAM, 3MP camera. It is 11.85mm thick. LG has announced a new Wireless Charging Pad (WCD-800), successor of the Wireless Charging Pad (WCP-700) that was launched last year. The new charging pad is large to fit large phones that could be placed both in horizontal and vertical directions on the base cradle. This lets the users read messages, emails and view calls comfortably when placed in the vertical manner and they can conveniently watch TV and movies in horizontal way.
