WhatsApp is working on quick reactions for status updates, rolling out a redesigned gallery view for desktop app

Earlier this year, WABeta discovered a new WhatsApp feature called “quick replies to status updates” that would allow users to respond to status updates by using emojis. Thanks to the recent WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.16.10 update, which reveals that WhatsApp is finally working on adding the same feature on the Android app, the feature was discovered during the development of the WhatsApp Desktop beta. WhatsApp could get status reply indicator, cover photo for desktop

When Reactions and Communities were released last month, rumors surfaced that WhatsApp is now working on a subscription strategy for its business app. But WhatsApp has made it possible for business accounts that use the latest versions of WhatsApp Business for iOS to add cover photos. WhatsApp is rolling out Request Account Info on Desktop

Last week, WhatsApp said it is working on a feature that will allow users to share rich link previews as text status updates in a future release of the WhatsApp beta on Android, iOS, and desktop.
