Truecaller has introduced new transliteration feature that activates real-time Hindi transliteration of the caller ID function. To activate this new feature, you need to go to settings and enable the Hindi language option. Once enabled, your Next call will be available in Hindi. Truecaller has announced that it now has over 100 million users in India. Last December, the company said that as of November India accounted for over 45 million users and 600,000 new users are being added every week from the country. Truecaller has received a funding worth $60 million from Atomico, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Sequoia Capital. The raised funds will be used by the comapny to fuel product development, hire new talent and expand the company’s global footprint.
