Apple releases macOS Sierra with Auto Unlock, Siri, Apple Pay and more

Apple has released macOS Sierra, as it had promised. It was announced back in June at the WWDC 2016 and brings several new features, including Auto Unlock functionality, Digital personal assistant Siri, Universal Clipboard, iCloud Desktop and Documents and Apple Pay on the web. Photos has also been updated with a new Memories feature that automatically creates curated collections of your favorite photos and videos. macOS Sierra roll out to begin on 20th September

Safari 10 on macOS Sierra to turn off Flash by default

Earlier this week, Apple announced macOS Sierra which comes with an array of new features like Siri, Apple Pay and more. The new OS also comes with new version of Safari dubbed as Safari 10 which will block Flash plugin by default across all websites.

Apple renames OS X, introduces macOS Sierra with Auto Unlock, Siri, Apple Pay and more

Apple has finally renamed its desktop OS X to macOS for streamlining the naming convention across all other Apple operating systems – iOS, watchOS and tvOS. The Cupertino giant has also announced the next version of its Mac operating system called macOS Sierra.
