Apple said to release Mini LED iPad Pro models by the end of 2020

There have been many rumours of Apple working towards making the shift to Mini LED displays for all of its devices. The latest one, from Apple analyst Ming Chi-Kuo, suggests that Apple is still working with suppliers and the first device with the Mini LED display will be an iPad Pro that is expected to release by the end of 2020.

Jabra Elite 85t truly wireless earbuds with adjustable ANC announced for $229

Jabra has announced their next generation truly wireless earphones, the Elite 85t. This time, it features their Advanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with a new Semi-open design, enhanced call quality with a 6 microphone setup and support for Qi-wireless charging.

The Elite 85t have new 12mm drivers that are designed for powerful bass, all housed in a new semi-open earphone that ensure comfort and relieve ear pressure. The earbuds have oval silicon EarGels do not go in as deep as before, providing a more comfortable experience while feeling secure.

It has dual dedicated ANC chips for Jabra’s Advanced ANC technology, enabling strong ANC capabilities with minimal processing. Similar to the 75t, it will also support Hear Through mode to let users hear their surroundings if they wish to. The new 6 microphone system have improved noise cancellation and wind protection for clearer calls.

As usual, the earbuds are IPX4 certified, and the battery life is rated at 5.5 hours of listening time with ANC ON, and a total of 25 hours with the Qi-wireless capable charging case. It comes in four colour combinations – Gold/Beige, Copper/Black, Black and Grey and Titanium/Black.

Jabra has also announced that its Elite 75t series will be getting a free OTA update that will enable active noise cancellation. The Elite 85t will go on sale for a price of $229 (Approx. Rs. 16,826) from November 2020 for the Titanium/Black version and January 2021 for the rest of the colours.

Opera for Android and Opera for desktop are getting new updates that bring a quite a few new user experiences. These include the newly redesigned Sync feature, along with the Flow feature and Suggested Sites feature for the Opera Android version and a Easy Files feature for Opera desktop version.

Xiaomi Mi Notebook 14 Review: The better option?

When Xiaomi entered the Indian laptop market with the launch of the Mi Notebook, they created quite a stir, offering good specs on a laptop that was well-built and more importantly, priced right. They released two variants — the regular Mi Notebook and the premium Mi Notebook Horizon Edition. I reviewed the Horizon Edition at launch, and I was positively happy with Xiaomi’s first attempt. I did however point out in the review that the top end model did not necessarily have the best bang-for-the-buck. WhatsApp testing “Expiring media” feature in Beta app

WhatsApp has released a new beta app version 2.20.201.1 for Android that contains a new feature they are testing – Expiring Media. The feature is said to work similar in ways to Snapchat and disappearing media in Telegram where received media will disappear after the user leaves the chat.
