Google Camera will now have face retouching options off by default and provide information when applying them

Google has announced a small but meaningful change to their Camera app that involves providing the user with a better experience with face retouching filters. The app will now have these filters turned off by default, and if the user does wish to use it, Google will now provide more information as to what changes the app will attempt to make.

Paytm launches Android Mini App store for custom-built mobile website apps

Paytm, one of India’s leading digital wallet and payment solutions, is introducing a new feature in its app called Mini apps, along with its own accompanying Android Mini App store. These “Mini apps” will be distributed from inside the Paytm app and can use a variety of payment solutions like Paytm Wallet, Paytm Payments Bank, UPI, etc.

Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition First Impressions: 43-inch FullHD Smart TV

Xiaomi’s portfolio of TVs have grown significantly over the past few years, and the latest to join the family is the Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition that was launched on September 7th. Apple iOS 14.2 beta adds 66 new emoji including bubble tea, a transgender flag, feather and more

Apple released The iOS 14.2 Beta 2 is out for developers today, and as expected, the beta reveals many of the new emoji that Apple is planning to release to iOS soon. Apple previewed a few emoji previously, but now with the update, we can see loads more such as the smiling face with tear, Disguised face, gender variations of people wearing a veil or tuxedo and more.

Google’s ‘Hold for Me’ Assistant feature can keep an eye on the phone call when you are on hold

Google has integrated its powerful voice recognition software and its Google Assistant in many of their apps and software, such as Call Screen, which is a solution to reduce the possibility of picking up spam calls. Google Messages app testing conversation categorizations

While most of us these days use WhatsApp, Telegram and other instant messaging services for our conversations, SMS is still a very prevalent way for users to receive OTPs, transaction confirmations, offers and of course a lot of spam too.
