Acer has entered India’s travel accessories segment with a new range of smart luggage. The company, with a legacy of nearly five decades and a presence in more than 160 countries, is expanding into lifestyle products with a focus on functional travel solutions, material design, and structured storage.
Acer travel-ready smart luggage
The lineup includes Melbourne, Melbourne Plus, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Brisbane, and Predator series. These are available in carry-on, medium, and large sizes, designed to support use cases ranging from short business trips to long-haul vacations.
Designed for convenience, mobility, and durability
Across the range, the luggage integrates expandable compartments, organized interior layouts, smooth mobility systems, and secure locking mechanisms. These features are intended to support ease of use, storage efficiency, and durability across airports, cities, and different travel conditions.
The luggage is equipped with high-performance spinner wheels designed to minimize vibration and noise while ensuring smooth movement. Ergonomic handles and secure locking systems are also included across models.
Melbourne series
The Melbourne series is built using durable multi-layer polycarbonate material designed to provide structural strength while maintaining a lightweight profile. It includes reinforced anti-collision corners for added protection, an aluminum alloy telescopic handle for adjustable height, smooth spinner wheels, and TSA-approved locks for security.
Melbourne Plus series
The Melbourne Plus series adds aluminum alloy bumper corners for improved impact resistance along with expandable storage capacity. It also features 360-degree silent wheels and TSA-approved locks. Select models include smart interior layouts with separate dry and wet compartments for organized packing.
Barcelona series
The Barcelona series features a front-opening design that allows users to access essentials without fully opening the suitcase. This is useful in compact environments such as airport lounges, trains, or hotel rooms.
It includes a front compartment with a dedicated laptop protection layer, along with organized storage for electronic devices, documents, and travel accessories. The series is built using recycled polyester (rPET), supporting sustainable material use.
Copenhagen series
The Copenhagen series is designed with a dual-opening structure featuring both top-opening and mid-opening access, allowing users to quickly retrieve frequently used items. It also supports a nesting design, where smaller suitcases can be stored inside larger ones.
Brisbane series
The Brisbane series combines top and mid-opening access with expandable storage, offering additional packing capacity for longer trips while maintaining accessibility and structural durability.
Predator series
The Predator series features a reinforced polycarbonate frame structure designed for higher durability and protection, targeting frequent travelers who require strong structural stability.
Sustainability
Selected models in the lineup incorporate recycled polyester (rPET), derived from post-consumer plastic waste. This reflects the use of environmentally responsible materials while maintaining durability and performance standards.
