HONOR has officially introduced the HONOR 600 Series for the global markets, starting from Malaysia, making it the first global market to receive the new smartphone lineup. The series, which includes the HONOR 600 Pro and the standard HONOR 600, integrates high-end hardware specifications and new AI imaging tools into the accessible flagship market.
Camera and Imaging
Both models feature a 200MP primary camera utilizing a 1/1.4-inch sensor, supported by a Night Engine designed to optimize low-light photography and manage exposure.
- HONOR 600 Pro: Includes a 50MP telephoto lens capable of up to 120x digital zoom, supported by CIPA 6.5 image stabilization.
- HONOR 600: Features a telephoto setup capable of up to 30x digital zoom.
AI Image to Video 2.0
The series introduces HONOR’s AI Image to Video 2.0, powered by a multi-modal video generation model. This software allows users to generate short video sequences natively on the device.
- Multi-Image to Video: Combines up to three still images to generate 3- to 5-second videos based on natural language prompts.
- Custom Prompts: Users can input text descriptions to guide the generated video’s storyline.
- Templates: Includes a built-in library of stylized templates featuring pre-set camera movements and visual effects.
Processor and Performance
The HONOR 600 Series marks the first integration of Snapdragon Elite-tier and Gen 4 processors into the N Series lineup.
- HONOR 600 Pro: Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform, yielding reported improvements of 45% in CPU and 44% in GPU performance compared to previous generations.
- HONOR 600: Powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, offering 27% CPU and 30% GPU performance gains.
The HONOR 600 Pro has a 5,219 mm² 3D VC cooling system, the company’s largest vapor chamber yet, and a 12,000+ mm² high-performance graphite cooling layer.
Display Technology
Both devices are equipped with a 6.57-inch display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness rating of 8,000 nits. The screens utilize HONOR’s Eye Comfort Display technology, which incorporates 3,840Hz PWM dimming and intelligent color optimization to reduce flicker and eye strain. A dedicated Sunlight Mode is included for enhanced outdoor visibility.
It has narrowest Black Bezel on the market at just 0.98mm.
Battery and Charging
The series features a high-capacity 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery designed for extended use. Both the standard and Pro models support:
- 80W wired HONOR SuperCharge.
- 27W wired reverse charging (compatible with external devices, including iPhones).
- Pro Exclusive: The HONOR 600 Pro additionally supports 50W wireless fast charging.
Durability Ratings
The chassis and build of the 600 series have been updated to meet high durability standards. It is the first in the N Series to achieve an IP69K rating, offering maximum protection against dust and high-pressure water. The devices also hold standard IP68 and IP69 ratings, alongside an SGS 5-star Drop & Crush Certification for impact resistance.
