HCL Infosystems has officially launched the ME Connect 2G 2.0 tablet. It went on sale online last week and packs a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1GHz Cortex A9 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 2-megapixel camera and a VGA front-facing camera. It has 2G connectivity through a SIM card slot and supports voice calling. It supports reading and writing 11 local Indian languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu ,Kannada, Bengali, Marathi and more.

It comes with freebies worth more than Rs. 2000, comes pre-loaded with applications such as BigFlix, Hungama, Readwhere, Paytm, Facebook, Twitter and apps from range of categories such as Games, Business, Communication, Lifestyle, Entertainment, Education, Health, etc. It has 1 Mobile Store which lets you download more than 3,00,000 apps.
