There is a 12MP camera inside the punch hole. There is support for FHD+ 30fps video recording. The earpiece is present on the top edge that doubles up as a secondary speaker. You can see a small bezel below the screen.
The phone runs Android 16 with One UI 8.5 on top that brings several AI-driven tools. The company promises up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades, alongside up to six years of security updates.
Powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, a change from Exynos 1380 SoC in the predecessor, it has up to 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
Coming to button placements and ports, the power button that embeds the fingerprint scanner and the volume rockers are present on the right side; hybrid dual SIM slot is present on the left, the primary microphone, the USB Type-C port, and the speaker grill are present on the bottom. The secondary microphone is present on the top. It still has a plastic frame but offers a matte finish.

The phone has a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera, arranged in a single line. The phone supports 4K video recording at up to 60fps from the main camera. It uses AI for subject recognition to optimize portraits and background separation. Check out some camera samples.

The back has a glossy finish, so it is prone to fingerprints easily; therefore, it is recommended to use a case. It has IP64 ratings for dust and water resistance compared to IP67 ratings in the predecessor. It retains a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G also comes in light pink and black colors and is priced starting at Rs. 31,999 for the 6GB + 256GB version. There is a Rs. 3000 bank offer, so the effective starting price is Rs. 28,999.
