
Soon after Computex and Investor Day, Qualcomm has confirmed that the company’s ninth annual Snapdragon Summit for this year will happen from September 22nd to 24th, 2026, in Maui, Hawaii.
At the event, we can expect the 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 (SM8950), and the company is said to be testing the standard version with support for LPDDR5X memory, and the 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro (SM8975) version is said to use LPDDR6 memory support. It is also said to support the latest UFS 5.0 storage.
According to leaker Digital Chat Station, the 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro is said to use a 2+3+3 next-gen Oryon CPU architecture, shared 16MB L2, and A850 GPU 18MB GMEM, while the standard 8 Elite Gen 6 is said to use a similar architecture but get an A845 GPU 12MB GMEM.
Phones powered by the chip, such as the Xiaomi 18 series, should be introduced by the end of September to compete with the Apple iPhone 18 Pro series that should arrive in early September. The iQOO 16, the HONOUR Magic9 series and more devices should be powered by the chip.
We still don’t have any leaks for the Snapdragon X3 Elite. We should know more details in the coming months before the event later this year.
