Marking a shift from the brand’s traditional clamshell design, the razr fold introduces a book-style foldable format aimed at balancing a familiar smartphone experience with the productivity capabilities of a larger tablet-style display.

- External Experience: When closed, the device features a 6.56-inch external display. This screen is designed with a standard “candy-bar” aspect ratio, allowing users to perform everyday tasks without needing to unfold the device.
- Internal Workspace: Upon opening, the device reveals an 8.1-inch 2K LTPO display. This larger canvas is engineered for multitasking and creative work, supported by a thin profile to maintain ergonomics.
- Intuitive Interface: The software includes adaptive layouts and supports the moto pen ultra stylus. To assist with workflow management, the device integrates on-device AI features such as “Catch me up” and “Next Move,” which are designed to organize notifications and suggest user actions.

Motorola has equipped the razr fold with a comprehensive camera array intended to compete with flagship imaging standards. The hardware is centered around a Sony LYTIA™ sensor, which aims to improve light intake and color accuracy.
