MSI 2026 Prestige, Modern S, Raider, Stealth, and Crosshair gaming laptops announced


MSI unveiled its 2026 laptop lineup at CES 2026. The announcement included redesigned business laptops in the Prestige series, updated gaming laptops across Raider, Stealth, and Crosshair series, the Modern S series for mainstream users, and the Claw 8 AI+ Glacier Blue Edition handheld device.

Prestige Series: Business and Productivity Laptops

Prestige 14 and Prestige 16

The new Prestige 14 and Prestige 16 feature a thinner, rounded aluminum design. The Prestige 14 weighs 1.32 kg, a 22% reduction from the previous generation, while the Prestige 16 weighs 1.59 kg. Both models are powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, Intel Arc B390 graphics, and a high-capacity 81Wh battery that supports up to 30+ hours of 1080p video playback. Cooling is handled via a vapor chamber, dual-fan, and Intra Flow thermal system keeping noise levels under 30 dBA.

Prestige 14 and 16 Flip

Flip models include touch-enabled 2-in-1 displays with stylus support. They come with the MSI Nano Pen, which charges in 30 seconds for full use and 15 seconds for 45 minutes of operation. Features include the Action Touchpad, enterprise-grade security with TPM 2.0, Windows Hello fingerprint and facial recognition, and a 2.8K 120Hz OLED display with VRR and DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification.

Modern 14S and 16S

The Modern 14S and 16S feature a refreshed metal design with rounded contours. Both models are powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and include dual memory slots. Connectivity options include USB-A, USB-C with display and charging support, HDMI, RJ-45 LAN, and a Micro SD card reader. Aluminum chassis designs measure as thin as 11.1mm, with weights starting at 1.3 kg.

Raider 16 Max HX

The Raider 16 Max HX delivers 300W total system power: 175W to NVIDIA RTX 5090/5080 graphics and 125W to Intel Core Ultra 200HX processors. Cooling is provided by Cooler Boost Trinity with Intra Flow thermal design, featuring three fans, six heat pipes, five exhaust vents, and phase-change thermal compound.

Upgrades are supported via a quick-access bottom panel, DDR5 memory, and PCIe Gen5 SSD slots. The 2.5K 240Hz OLED display is certified with VESA Display HDR True Black 1000.

The Prestige series laptops will be available for pre-order starting January 6, 2026, with sales beginning January 27, 2026. Pre-orders are available through selected retail channels.
