HONOR has introduced the HONOR Power2 smartphone in China, as it had promised. The phone packs a 6.79″ 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display with up to 8000 nits peak brightness, is the first phone to be powered by new MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite SoC achieving an AnTuTu benchmark score of 2.4 million and has 12GB of RAM.
The main highlight of the phone is the huge, 10080mAh fourth-generation silicon-carbon battery with six-year durability and is the second mobile phone battery to enter the 10,000mAh segment after the company’s own HONOR WIN series phones.
Even with a huge battery, it weighs just 216 grams and is under 8mm. The phone has 80W fast charging and also comes with 27W reverse charging.
The phone has the gold label three-proof certification, and SGS five-star reliability certification, for protection against drop, shock and compression. There is also IP69K dust and water resistance certification that can withstand high-pressure water gun impact and boiling water immersion up to 85°C without damage.
The HONOR Power2 features a unique Power Signal Island design, a self-developed RF enhancement chip C1+, and an innovative parallel dual-rail antenna design, achieving a 200% increase in weak network signal strength and leading the way in all four network bands.

The phone is available to order and will go on sale in China from January 9th.
