Google has launched its new subscription tier, Google AI Plus for the Indian market, after it was launched in Indonesia back in September. The plan aims to broaden access to the company’s advanced artificial intelligence models and productivity features at a lower price point.
According to Google, the initiative is a response to the diverse ways Indian users are already utilizing tools ranging from the Gemini app to NotebookLM. The company states the plan is designed to make these technologies more accessible to a wider demographic.
Plan Features and Capabilities
The Google AI Plus plan bundles access to several of Google’s latest AI models and integrates them into the company’s ecosystem of apps. The subscription includes:
- Advanced Models: Users gain increased access to Gemini 3 Pro, described as Google’s most intelligent model to date, within the Gemini app.
- Creative Tools: The plan provides access to Nano Banana Pro, the latest model for image generation and editing. It also unlocks video generation capabilities and creative tools such as “Flow” within the Gemini app.
- Workspace Integration: Subscribers will see Gemini built directly into frequently used applications, including Gmail and Google Docs, to assist with drafting and productivity.
- Research Tools: The plan offers expanded access to NotebookLM, a tool designed for deeper research and document analysis.
- Storage: The subscription comes with 200 GB of cloud storage, which is shared across Google Photos, Drive, and Gmail.
Pricing and Family Sharing
The Google AI Plus plan is available in India starting today at a standard price of Rs. 399 per month.
To encourage adoption, Google has introduced an introductory offer for new subscribers, pricing the plan at Rs. 199 per month for the first six months.
Additionally, the plan supports family sharing. A single subscription allows the primary user to share all included benefits—including the AI tools and storage—with up to five other family members.

Google positions this new tier as a method to “level up productivity and creativity” by allowing users to do more with their latest models for less.
