Google has introduced Google AI Plus, a new subscription plan designed to improve creativity and productivity with advanced AI tools. Indonesia is the first country worldwide to access this plan, said Vikas Kansal, Group Product Manager, Google One.
Google AI Plus: Tools and Features
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the company stated that the new plan is designed to empower people in emerging markets to “do more” with Google AI, “for less.” Google AI Plus provides access to a range of AI models and services:
- High-quality videos can be generated using Veo 3 Fast in the Gemini app.
- Whisk and Flow for advanced AI-based image and video generation
- Gemini 2.5 Pro for students and researchers
- NotebookLM with improved document analysis and faster summaries
The plan integrates Gemini across Google apps such as Gmail, Docs, and Sheets, supporting tasks like drafting emails, building presentations, and managing project plans. Subscribers receive 200 GB cloud storage, which can be shared with up to five family members.
Practical Use Cases
Vikas Kansal explained that for new professionals, Gemini can assist with everyday tasks. It can help create schedules in Sheets, summarize long reports using NotebookLM, generate presentation videos with Flow, and draft professional emails in Gmail.
Pricing and Availability
Google AI Plus subscription is available for Rp 75,000 per month (Rs. 401 approx.) in Indonesia. New customers will receive a 50% discount for the first six months. The plan has launched in Indonesia first, with rollout to more countries planned.
