vivo X300 and X300 Pro global roll out begins


vivo has introduced the X300 and X300 Pro flagship smartphones for the global markets starting from select European countries after the phones were introduced in China earlier this month.

There are no change in most specifications of the phones and the company is also selling the ZEISS 2.35x telephoto extender kit + grip kit as an option.

The vivo X300 has a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.05mm ultra-narrow bezels on all the sides. The X300 Pro retains the 6.78″ 1.5K 120Hz LTPO OLED display, which as 1.1mm ultra-narrow bezels on all the sides. Both the phones use BOE Q10+ material, feature full-brightness DC dimming and 2160Hz PWM dimming, local peak brightness of 4500nit, minimum 1nit.

The phones are powered by the latest Dimensity 9500 SoC, which has scored over 4 million points on AnTuTu 11. These have up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, run Origin OS 6.0 based on Android 16. These have IP68 + IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

The X300 has a 200MP main camera with 1/1.4″ Samsung HPB sensor, along with a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP 1/1.95″ LYT602 periscope telephoto camera with telemacro.

The X300 Pro is the first phone to use a 50MP 1/1.28″ LYT828 main camera, has a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 200MP 1/1.4″ Samsung HPB sensor for the 85mm periscope telephoto camera with telemacro. Both these feature a 50MP front camera.

However, there is a change in the battery size for the European markets. The vivo X300 and X300 Pro in Europe comes with 5360mAh and 5440mAh batteries respectively, compared to 6040mAh / 6510mAh batteries in China.

Pricing and availability

The vivo X300 comes in Phantom Black and Halo Pink colours and is priced at 1,049 Euros (USD 1213 / Rs. 1,07,655 approx.) for the single 16GB + 512GB model.

The vivo X300 Pro comes in Phantom Black and Dune Brown colours and is priced at 1,399 Euros (USD 1617 / Rs. 1,43,575 approx.) for the single 16GB + 512GB model.

The vivo X300 Pro telephoto extender kit + grip kit bundle costs 1,997 Euros (USD 2308 / Rs. 2,04,950 approx.). There is launch discount on all the models.

The phones are already on sale in Austria, Spain, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Italy in Europe and are expected to roll out in other markets globally in November, and in India in December.
