OPPO F31 Series 5G to launch in India on September 15

OPPO has confirmed the launch of F31 series 5G in India on September 15th as the successor to the F29 Series. The phones have a tagline “Durable Champion,” and shows one phone in gold or champagne color, exhibiting a textured back panel with a subtle radial pattern emanating from the camera module.

The other phone is a deep blue, also showing a reflective or textured back, with what appears to be small, sparkling accents. Both phones showcase a circular camera module design on their rear and flat sides. These should be the F31 Pro and the F31 Pro+.

The F31 Pro will come in Himalayan White, Gemstone Blue, and Festival Pink colours. It will be 7.7mm thick and weigh 195g. It will pack a 7000mAh battery with 1830 battery charging cycle for 5 years of use, and will come with fast charging offering 42% charge in 20 minutes, and also come with 10W reverse charging. The phone will come with IP66 + IP68 + IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and feature 360° armour body.

Based on earlier rumours, there will be F31, F31 Pro, and F31 Pro+. The F31 is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, replacing the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 in the predecessor and pack 7000 mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging compared to 6500mAh battery with 45W charging.

The F31 Pro is said to retain the Dimensity 7300 from the predecessor and pack a similar 7000 mAh battery, again an upgrade compared to 6000mAh battery, while retaining 80W fast charging.

The OPPO F31 Pro+ model is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, pack 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage and a similar 7,000 mAh battery.

We should know more details about the phones in the coming days, before these go official in a week.
