realme just launched the realme 15 5G and realme 15 Pro 5G smartphones in India, as it had promised. The phones pack a 6.8-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED 4D curved BOE screen with 1.72mm ultra-narrow bottom bezel, 94% screen-to-body ratio, up to 6500nit local peak brightness, 1800 nits HBM brightness, and PWM + DC dimming.
The realme 15 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300+ processor and the realme 15 Pro 5G is the first phone in India to be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. Both the phones feature 7000mm² VC Cooling System, up to 12GB of RAM and up to 14GB of virtual RAM.
The phones run Android 15 with realme UI 6.0 out of the box, and should get 2 Android OS updates and 3 years of security updates, similar to the previous models.
These pack a 50MP main camera with Sony IMX882 / IMX896 sensor, OIS, and a 50MP front camera. The realme 15 has a 8MP ultra-wide camera, and the Pro model gets a 50MP ultra-wide camera for the first time. The Pro model gets up to 4K 60 fps video recording with all the cameras, and HDR video recording with the main camera.
These feature MagicGlow 2.0 that adjusts skin tones and lighting in portraits, Party Mode that adds filters, lighting effects, and frames based on scene detection and the phones comes with Edit Genie, a voice-based editing assistant, supports over 20 languages and can perform tasks such as background changes, glare correction, and applying visual effects using voice input.
These pack a 7000mAh Titan battery with 813Wh/L energy density, and has 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. Yet, the phone is just 7.66mm thick and weighs 187g. The phones come with multi-colour pulse light on the back.
