Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V and Xperia Pro launched in India

Sony Ericsson has officially launched the XPERIA Neo V and Xperia Pro in India today adding a couple of handsets to its XPERIA range of Android phones.Sony Ericsson has partnered with Bharti Airtel to offer 500 MB of free 3G usage per month for 3 months for customers purchasing this handset. Both these phones run on the Android Gingerbread operating system.

XPERIA neo V features a 3.7 inch Reality Display with  Mobile Bravia Engine, HDMI out along with 3D Sweep panorama, a front facing camera and a 5 MP rear facing camera. It is powered by a 1GHZ Snapdragon CPU and a Adreno 205 GPU along with 512 MB of RAM.

The Xperia Pro is a QWERTY slider device which we actually saw at MWc 2011 earlier this year.. It features a 3.7 inch touchscreen display and full slide out QWERTY keypad. It packs a 8.1 MP camera on the back.

Sony Ericsson also announced it’s FingerTALK campaign in the country.

Regarding the pricing , the Xperia Neo V is already available in stores for around Rs.17500. The Xperia Pro is expected to be available in stores for Rs.24000 approximately.
