Ather 450S gets price cut, now starts at Rs. 1.1 lakh

Ather has announced a Rs. 20,000 price cut for the Ather 450S, just five months after the launch. The electric scooter, which was launched at Rs. 1,29,999 now costs Rs. ₹ 1,09,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru, including Fame II subsidy).

This brings the price down to as low as Rs. 97, 547 (ex-showroom, including Fame II subsidy) in cities like New Delhi which offers 14,500 state subsidy, making the first Ather scooter to be available under a lakh.

The comes after the launch of the Ather 450 Apex, the company’s costliest scooter, which was launched last week for Rs. 1.89 lakhs. This offers up to 100kmph top speed, thanks to the 7.0 kW Peak Motor Power and new features like Magic Twist.

To remind you, the Ather 450S offers the same 90km/h speed as the 450X, but the Certified Range / ARAI range is 115KM per single charge and TrueRange is 90KM in Smart Eco mode since it has a 2.8Kwh battery, and comes with a non-touch LCD screen.

The Ather 450S is now available to book at a new rate from the Ather website.
