Ather 450 Apex has transparent panels, comes in new color, offers 100Kmph speed with Warp+ mode and costs Rs. 1.89 lakhs

Ather has introduced the new Ather 450 Apex, the company’s next electric scooter, in an online event, after teasers. This comes in a new Indium Blue colour with a depth of red and a satin-like feel. There are transparent panels for the chassis that are glossy outside, frosted inside.

The main highlight is the 100Kmph speed with the new Warp+ mode, thanks to the 7.0 kW Peak Motor Power, even though Max torque is the same 26 Nm. From throttle input to wheel movement, it takes just 90 ms, says the company. It can do 0 to 40 in 2.9 seconds, making it 4 seconds faster than the Ather 450x Gen 3.

The new Magic Twist lets you slow down and even stop the scooter when you reverse the throttle. This works differently compared to regen, says the company.

It has the same 3.7kWh battery with 110KM Trurange and 157Km certified range, same fast charging rate. It has the same screen and dashboard features.
