vivo T2 5G with FHD+ AMOLED display and T2X 5G launching in India on April 11

After teasers, vivo has confirmed the launch of its T2 5G series as the successor to the T1 5G series in India on April 11th. This will include the T2 5G and T2X 5G models.

The first teaser confirms FHD+ AMOLED screen with 1300 nits brightness and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The image confirms a notch. This is similar to the iQOO Z7 5G which was launched in the country last month, and the rear design is also similar, so this could be a rebranded version of the Z7 5G.

The design of the T2x 5G is different, so this could be a new smartphone. Based on reports, the T2x 5G will feature a FHD+ screen, but will replace the Snapdragon 695 SoC in the T2 with a Dimensity 700 SoC.

The phone is expected to come in 4GB, 6GB and 8GB RAM versions, all with 128GB of storage. vivo said that it will reveal more details about the phones in the coming days, before the phones go official next week.

The vivo T2 5G and T2X 5G will be sold on Flipkart, in addition to vivo.com. The company already confirmed that the phones will be priced under Rs. 20,000.
