POCO X5 Pro 5G with 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 778G launching in India on February 6

After rumours and teasers, POCO has confirmed the launch of POCO X5 Pro 5G, the successor to last year’s POCO X4 Pro in India on February 6th. The teaser image with the brand ambassador Hardik Pandya shows the phone in yellow color, reveals triple rear cameras and a 108MP main camera for the phone.

POCO has also confirmed the global launch of the phone on the same day at the same time of 5:30PM IST. However, the company is also launching the POCO X5 5G for the global markets.

The render of the POCO X5 Pro surfaced recently, which showed a flat punch-hole screen, and the phone will come in Black and Blue colours.

Based on recent rumours, the POCO X5 Pro 5G will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Speed Edition powered by Snapdragon 778G, 108MP 1/1.52-inch Samsung HM2 sensor, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera, while retaining the 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display and a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging in the Redmi Note 12 Pro.

The POCO X5 5G is said to be the rebranded Redmi Note 12 5G model. However, instead of Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC, this is said to be powered by Snapdragon 695 SoC.

We should know the price of the phones when these go official next week.
