HONOR Magic5 series and HONOR Magic Vs (global) to be announced at MWC 2023 on February 27


After rumours, HONOR has confirmed that its MWC 2023 even will happen on February 27th where it will introduce the HONOR Magic5 Series and also launch the HONOR Magic Vs for the global markets after it was introduced in China in November last year.

The invite has the text “Unleash the Power of Magic” along with the triple rear camera design for the HONOR Magic5.

The render of the smartphone surfaced earlier this month, revealing a similar camera arrangement. Based on rumours, the company will introduce the HONOR Magic5 and Magic5 Pro models, with the Pro model powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

The phones are said to pack a 6.8-inch punch-hole screen, supports 100W wired fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging, and come with IP68 waterproof and dustproof body. The Pro version is said to come with quad rear cameras, including a periscope telephoto camera and support for up to 100x zoom.

HONOR is also said to launch the HONOR Magic5 Lite 5G model with a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 695 SoC, 64MP rear camer, 5MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro camera as well as 16MP front camera.

The phone is expected to pack 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 5100mAh battery with support for 40W fast charging. It is still expected to run Android 12 with MagicUI 6.1 on top. The phone is rumoured to be priced at 389.90 Euros (US$ 425 / Rs. 34,655 approx.) in Europe.

The HONOR MWC on-site MWC event in person in Barcelona, starts at 1:30 PM CET (6PM IST) on 27th Febuary 2023. It will also offer online live stream.
