Xiaomi acknowledges Redmi Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max camera issue after update, offers free repair


After the latest MIUI 13 update that rolled out for Redmi Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max smartphones a few days back, several users started reporting issues with the camera that crashes when opened, some users also said that the camera crashes when they open any third-party app such as Instagram and Snapchat.

Now, Redmi India support team has acknowledged the issue, and has announced that it will offer comprehensive technical support and repairs for the affected users at 2000+ Xiaomi Authorized service centers across India at no additional cost.

The company apologized for the issue and said that it is committed to delivering a user-centric experience that exceed its user’s expectations.

Last year, users of Redmi Note 10 series reported display issues. The company acknowledged the issue, and said that it is reported by less than 0.001% of Note 10 series user base.

POCO X3 Pro users faced motherboard issue earlier this year, for which the company offered a free service, and also offered extended warranty of 6 months to all the users.
