Sony, on Monday launched two new wireless neckband speakers – SRS-NB10 and SRS-NS7 in India.
SRS-NB10
First off, the SRS-NB10 is designed for online conferences and meetings during work from home. The neckband features a full-range speaker angled upward and passive radiators for a well-balanced sound.
The SRS-NB10 comes with Voice Pickup Technology for clear calls, two high-quality directional microphones combined with advanced audio signal processing for noise minimisation.
As per the company’s claims, the wireless neckband is light and comfortable with a secure fit. The company also promises 20 hours of battery life, and 10 minutes quick charge gives up to an hour of extra work or play. It features a USB Type-C port and comes with IPX4 splash-proof certification.
SRS-NS7
On the other hand, the SRS-NS7 is the world’s first Dolby Atmos compatible wireless neckband speaker with Sony’s BRAVIA XR models. It delivers Sony’s unique 360 Spatial Sound experience with the 360 Spatial Sound Personalizer app.
To use it to its full potential, one needs to connect the supplied wireless transmitter WLA-NS7 to the TV with an optical cable and USB cable, then pair the SRS-NS7 with the transmitter via Bluetooth.
To customise the experience, users can install the 360 Spatial Sound Personalizer smartphone app. As of Oct 2021, the compatible devices are as follows – WF-1000XM3, WH-1000XM4, WH-XB700, WI-1000XM2.
The SRS-NS7 features an X-Balanced Speaker unit, an upward-facing speaker, and a passive radiator for an immersive music experience. As per the company’s claims, the SRS-NS7 provides up to 12 hours of power and up to 5 hours at maximum volume.
It also supports quick charging with USD type-C, and a 10-minutes of charge gives you up to an extra 60 minutes of extra playtime. Like the SRS-NB10, it also has an IPX4 splash-proof design.
The new SRS-NB10, SRS-NS7 wireless neckband speakers, and WLA-NS7 wireless transmitter will be available across all Sony Center, E-commerce portals from today.
