motorola edge 30 pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 12GB RAM, Android 12 surfaces in benchmarks

motorola introduced the moto edge X30, the company’s latest flagship smartphone, in China earlier this month. Earlier rumours said that the edge X30 will launch globally as moto edge 30 ultra, now the motorola edge 30 pro has surfaced in Geekbench listing, revealing some specs of the phone.

Based on the listing, the phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with 12GB of RAM and runs Android 12 out of the box. It has scored 1172 and 3302 in Gekebench 5 Single-Core and Multi-Core benchmarks, respectively, which is not on par with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 reference device, we checked out earlier this month.

It is not clear if the moto edge X30 will launch globally as moto edge 30 pro globally, or if this will be a cheaper model of the edge 30 ultra AKA edge X30. motorola also has a moto edge X30 special edition with an under-screen camera, but the company has not revealed which version it is planning to launch in the global markets.

motorola also has the moto edge S30, which is the most affordable phone Snapdragon 888-powered phone. Hope we get to see this as well in the global markets next year.
