Update – November 15, 2021: OnePlus has launched the Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition in India, after it was announced last week. It has a back that glows in the dark, comes with a fun games, challenges, and exclusive PAC-MAN content.
The OnePlus Nord 2 × PAC-MAN Edition has a dual film rear cover featuring the design aesthetics. For the outermost film, OnePlus’s design style of simplicity and elegance is combined with signature PAC-MAN elements – such as the game’s iconic PAC-DOTS and PAC-MAN himself.
For the innermost film, the special edition device boasts a glossy phosphorescent design that glows in the dark to reveal a neon maze inspired by PAC-MAN. OnePlus and Nord elements are integrated into the maze.
The OnePlus Nord 2 × PAC-MAN Edition has classic icons that have been overhauled with a fun pixelated aesthetic inspired by lo-fi video games. It also comes with custom static and dynamic wallpapers, depicting different stages of PAC-MAN’s journey into the OnePlus universe. As a tribute to the intuitive gameplay of PAC-MAN, users will need to complete challenges on the device itself to unlock several hidden wallpapers.
Other PAC-MAN content on the device includes a custom camera filter, custom animations, and the game PAC-MAN 256 pre-installed. Finally, there are unlockable PAC-MAN content such as ringtones, photo stickers, and more. All of which can be unlocked by completing challenges on the OnePlus Nord 2 × PAC-MAN Edition itself.
The OnePlus Nord 2 × PAC-MAN Edition comes with the same specifications as the Nord 2.
The OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition comes with a DIY PAC-MAN phone holder, featuring popular characters from the arcade classic. The holder’s design is inspired by the famous Penrose stairs and symbolizes PAC-MAN’s iconic gameplay loop.

This has a new rear cover featuring a dual film design with phosphorescent ink applied to its innermost film that enables the device to glow in the dark, showcasing a maze inspired by the classic game.
The OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition has games, challenges, and lots of exclusive (and hidden) PAC-MAN content throughout, and the company says that you need to unlock them.
OnePlus said that it will more details to share about the OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition in the coming days, so we don’t have the renders or the spec sheet of the phone yet.
How to get the OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition?
You can take part in the PAC-MAN contest on oneplus.com that needs you get a high enough score in 48 hours to stand a chance of winning the device. The company is giving away three phones in total, along with a free pair of OnePlus Buds Z.
In the 72hr challenge from Friday, November 12 till Monday, November 15, it will give away early access codes to order the device. Everyone that wins an early access code will also get a free pair of OnePlus Buds Z if they order the device.
The contest is open only for those who reside in Europe or India.

The OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN Edition will be sold in a single 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, priced at Rs. 37,999. It will go on sale on Amazon.in from tomorrow, November 16th. Buyers also get Rs. 2000 discount with coupons for a limited period. Citibank users can avail an instant bank discount for Rs. 1000 and a discount of Rs. 1250 on 3 and 6-month EMI options. Consumers can also get 3 months of Spotify Premium for free on purchase of their OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN. They can avail this offer through their Red Cable Club platform.
The customers purchasing the OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN edition smartphone can get a free OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN phone holder.
