Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite with 10.4-inch display, S-Pen, 7040mAh battery announced [Update: Price]


Update 16th April 2020: The price of Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has been announced in various markets. The WiFi variant costs 379 euros (US$ 411 / Rs. 31,507) and the LTE variant costs 439 euros (US$ 476 / Rs. 36,495 approx.), and will be available starting April 30th, 202o in markets like Germany, Belgium, Russia, France, Italy. However, there is no word on Indian launch yet.

Earlier: Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S6 last year in India and a lighter version of the Tab S6 has been in the rumours for quite some time. Now, Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite with a metal body, S-Pen support, large battery, and more in Indonesia.

The Tab S6 Lite flaunts a 10.4-inch TFT display with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels(WUXGA+). The chipset maker is not specified yet, but what we know is, it is an Octa-Core SoC clocked at up to 2.3GHz. It is paired with 4GB RAM with up to 128GB storage which can be expanded up to 1TB with microSD. It runs on OneUI 2 based on Android 10.

Coming to the optics, the Tab S6 Lite sports an 8MP rear camera, and a 5MP front camera. The connectivity options include Dual-Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and 4G LTE. Lastly, it packs a 7040mAh battery and weighs 467 grams.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite comes in Oxford Grey, Angora blue, and Chiffon pink colour options. There is no information on the pricing and availability in global markets yet.
