There are loads of applications and games floating around for Nokia phones. While Nokia Store will provide an opportunity to download them all from single place, provided directly by the developer, till the time this happens lets dive in to some of the free applications present.
In this post i will concentrate on Nokia 5800 XpressMusic applications.One of my favorite ones is Checkers, a simple widget based application.
This is a standard Checkers game, which we have all come across during our childhood. The application has hit 5000 downloads pretty soon. You can download it from here.
The gameplay is simple. Just select “Who goes first?”, move forward and eat all the red pieces.The red peices in this case is a solid AI, which should not be mistaken to be dumb. Play with all your brains. The only thing that lacks is saving the game state, which means you need to restart the game every time. But this is definitely interesting.

Touch Guitar is my favorite among these, as i can finally make use of the plectrum that came in the box.
