LG AI ThinQ TVs with Alexa and Google Assistant launched in India starting at Rs. 24990


LG today launched range of AI ThinQ TVs. All these support AI assistant and some models are powered by second generation α (Alpha) 9 Gen 2 intelligent processor and deep learning technology offering improved AI-enabled picture, sound and brightness. These come in screen sizes of 32-inch to 77-inch and support Dolby Vision, HDR10 Pro, HLG Pro HDR and Dolby Atmos. These were introduced at CES 2019 earlier this year and the global roll out began in March.

The OLED TVs will allow users to control and make use of the TV using Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. This includes Alexa Routines, weather reports and over 20,000 Alexa Skills. You can also connect it to internal devices like soundbars and gaming consoles by speaking to Alexa. Google Assistant will allow users to select programs, open apps, control smart home devices and manage daily tasks. The LG Magic Remote lets you search for shows, change TV settings and switch to different inputs and more.

The new LG NanoCell TVs will offer users support for AirPlay 2 and HomeKit. These come with Nano Color Full Array Dimming, Nano Accuracy and Nano Bezel. AirPlay 2 allows users to watch videos on the Apple TV app while HomeKit enables the ability to control the TV through the Apple Home app or Siri.

These LG TVs come with built-in apps including Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Hotstar, YouTube, Eros Now, Zee5, AltBalaji, Hungama Play, Sun NXT and Yupp TV. 2-way Bluetooth feature allows users to listen to the TV audio wirelessly on compatible audio device and connect the mobile with LG TV in order to enjoy music. These also support Mobile Connection Overlay that enables users to view both the mobile and television screens simultaneously.

The new LG TVs start from 32-inches and go up to 77-inches and are priced between Rs. 24,990 and Rs. 10,99,990,respectively. The LG OLED TVs start at Rs. 2,09,990 and the UHD series start at  Rs. 50,990 and the NanoCell TVs will be available starting at Rs. 82,990.
