Redmi Y3 goes on open sale in India


Xiaomi’s Redmi brand launched theRedmi Y3 smartphone in India in April, and the phone went on sale for the first time starting April 30th through Amazon.in, Mi.com and Mi Home stores starting at Rs. 9999. It was sold every Tuesdays after that, now the phone is available through open sale after one month of launch. The Redmi 7 went on open sale last month, and the Redmi Note 7S went on open sale last week.

ICICI Bank users also get instant Rs. 500 discount on the phone from today, June 6th till June 9th.

To remind you, the phone packs a 6.26-inch HD+ Dot notch display, is powered by Snapdragon 632 SoC with up to 4GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10, features a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for capturing depth information in portrait shots. It also has an 32-megapixel camera on the front.

It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection on the front, features dual color finish with Aura Prism design, features P2i nano coating making it splash proof, has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, comes with dedicated dual SIM and microSD card slots and packs a 4000mAh battery.
