Nokia 9 PureView with penta rear cameras gets certified by the FCC, could offer 64MP images


HMD Global is all set to introduce  Nokia 9 PureView with penta rear cameras at the MWC on February 24th. Now the smartphone has been certified by the FCC confirming the design and cameras with ZEISS optics once again. It also reveals model numbers – TA-1087 Dual-SIM global variant, Single SIM global variant TA-1082 and Nokia TA-1094 which is the Dual-SIM China variant.

Earlier rumors did not reveal the camera resolution, however a new rumor from China reveals that it will come with two 12-megapixel cameras, two 16-megapixel cameras and an 8-megapixel camera, which includes telephoto, wide-angle and depth-sensing lenses.

It is said to use Light camera technology that can take five photos at the same time, capuring 10x more light compared to normal phones and combine them to offer 64-megapixel output offering better low-light performance, Dynamic range and option to refocus.

The phone is rumored to pack a 5.9-inch Quad HD 3D glass OLED display, powered by Snapdragon 845 with 6GB of RAM, 128GB storage, expandable memory with microSD, Android 9.0 (Pie), IP68 ratings for water-resistance, Nokia OZO Audio and wireless charging.
