Thomson to re-enter Indian market with new LED TVs on April 12 [Update: Flipkart exclusive]


Update: Flipkart has put up a promo page that reveals that the Thomson TV are launching exclusively with them.

Earlier: Business France and Technicolor SA France owned consumer electronic brand Thomson has sent out invites for the launch of Thomson TVs in India on April 12th. The company will launch its new LED TVs in the country through the e-commerce market space with an exclusive licensing agreement so it should be either Flipkart or Amazon.in.

With over 120 years of legacy, the French Corporation, works with licensing partners world over. It was once India’s highest selling brand and the company said that it will price its Smart LED TVs competitively and like to place the best bet while comparing several options that are available online.

Thomson launched its LED TVs in European market a few years back where it is selling A3, A4, A5, A6, B3, B6 and C64 series of TVs.  We should know more details about the list of TVs that the company plans to launch in India and the pricing next Thursday.
