OnePlus recently teased a new color variant of the OnePlus 5 smartphone in China. Even OnePlus global teased something new is coming on August 7th along with caption Power in Elegance. Today OnePlus India has released a teaser similar to one in China that has a link to Amazon.in site that mentions gold in the header image URL so we will likely see the Mint Gold version of the phone next week.

The OnePlus 5 already comes in Midnight Black and Slate Gray color variants. The OnePlus 3 and the 3T too got Soft Gold variant weeks after the launch of Graphite / Gunmetal version.
The gold version of the phone will likely have a white finish instead of the black front in the Black and Gray variants. India might be one of the first countries to get the new color since it is being teased in the country after China, where the new color was confirmed through TENAA certification soon after the phone’s announcement.
We should know the roll out details of the new OnePlus 5 version in a few days.
