Earlier this week few OnePlus 5 users started report a bug that make the device reboot immediately after dialing emergency numbers ‘911’ (US) or ‘999’ (UK). As the company already had promised, it has released a new OxygenOS 4.5.6 hotfix update to fix the issue.

“We have been in touch with the customer and have tested a software update that has resolved the issue. We will be rolling out the software update shortly,” said OnePlus in a statement today.

Earlier this month OnePlus 5 got OxygenOS 4.5.5 update that brought improvements to WiFi connectivity and fixes to WiFi signal consistently displayed weak, improvements in voice calling and more.

The Oneplus 5 OxygenOS 4.5.6 update is just 32MB in size and doesn’t include any other new features, fixes or improvements. OnePlus said that the update will be incremental so it will reach only small percentage of users today, and a broader roll out will happen soon. If you don’t have the update yet, you can manually update by downloading the OTA Zip here.
