Samsung introduced Blue Coral version of Galaxy S7 edge smartphone in select markets earlier this month that joined the Black Onyx, Gold Platinum, White Pearl, Silver Titanium and Pink Gold colors. Now there is a rumor that the company is planning to introduce Glossy Black version of the Galaxy S7 to compete with the Jet Black Apple iPhone 7.
Apple introduced the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in new Jet Black version this year, along with a Black version with matte finish. Apple already warned the Jet Black version’s shiny surface is prone to fine micro-abrasions with use and asked users to use cases to protect the phone from scratches. So the Glossy Black Galaxy S7 will likely be prone to scratches.
It is not clear if the Glossy Black Galaxy S7 will be exclusive to Korea or launch in select countries globally like the Blue Coral version. We should know more details soon.
