Alcatel OneTouch has announced Pop Up and Pop Star smartphones in the Pop series, waterproof Go Play smartphone and Go Watch in the Go series at the IFA 2015. Both the smartphones have a 5-inch HD display. The Pop Up has a metal frame with glass hard key and a back cover with a 3D spin effect, while the Pop Star smartphone has a range of customizable back covers such as Leather Collection, Fashion Collection, Nature-ECO Collection. The Go Play and Go Watch are waterproof, dustproof and shockproof smartphone with IP67 ratings. The Go Watch doesn’t run on Android Wear, but it supports both Android and iOS devices.
The Go Watch runs on Android, and not Android Wear, but it supports both Android and iOS devices. It has a new GoPro app, which allows you to control your camera from your wrist. The Go Watch can track fitness such as steps taken, distance traveled and also sleep cycles. You can also manage incoming notifications and remotely control media. It has a GO button that lets you trigger an emotion pulse measurement.
“An emotional graphic will be created based on the input from the gyroscope, heart rate sensor and accelerometer. Select a theme that matches your mood the best to create your personalized emotion pulse. You can instantly share your unique emotion pulse on social networks or even set it as the wallpaper of your Go Watch”, said the company.
