Vodafone India has announced an exclusive partnership with Xolo to promote its first device from upcoming online-only sub-brand BLACK, launching this Friday – July 10.
In this partnership, Vodafone will create a demo-zone for the BLACK smartphone at more than 100 Vodafone Stores, where customers can get the hands on experience before purchasing it from exclusive online partner Flipkart.
Vodafone will not sell the device, but it will offer free 1GB data per month for two months or unlimited music content download for their subscribers with Vodafone Music Application for two months.
Commenting on the exclusive partnership, Vivek Mathur, Chief Commercial Officer, Vodafone India said:
While online-only is a great strategy to test waters in a new market with a new model, this partnership will allow Xolo to tap into Vodafone’s brick-and-mortar retail presence. Exclusive demos and in-store experience coupled with additional Data offers will empower our customers with a great value proposition and help them remain connected always.
