Samsung launched the Samsung Z1 smartphone, the company’s latest Tizen OS smartphone in India last month. We already brought you the review of the smartphone, here we have the battery life test results of the smartphone. The Samsung Z1 has a 1,500mAh Lithium ion battery. It has a 4-inch WVGA display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, which should not consume a lot of battery. The Tizen OS also has ultra power saving mode that would let you extend the battery life.

It lasted for 9 hours and 5 minutes in our talk time test, better than the Android One smartphones.
3G Browsing
It lasted for 5 hours and 15 minutes in 3G browsing test, similar to other mid-range smartphones.
WiFi Browsing
It lasted for 7 hours and 8 minutes in WiFi browsing test and grabs the second spot.
Video Playback
It managed to last for 6 hours and 40 minutes in the video playback test.
It achieved One Charge Rating of 6 hours and 55 minutes. Overall the battery life is decent for a smartphone with a 1500mAh battery, in this price range.
