Micromax’s YU launched the YU YUREKA (AO5510), the first smartphone under YU brand last month for Rs. 8,999. We brought you the hands on, unboxing and the photo gallery recently. Here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor that has four ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.54 GHz per core and other four Cortex A53 cores are clocked at 1.0 GHz per core. It has Adreno 405 GPU clocked at 550 MHz. It has 2GB DDR3 RAM, 5.5-inch HD screen and runs on Cyanogen OS 11 based on Android 4.4.4 (KitKat). Check out the synthetic benchmark scores below.
The YU YUREKA scores 17178 points in the Quadrant benchmark and grabs the third spot, behind the Desire 820.
AnTuTu Benchmark 4
In AnTuTu 4, the YUREKA scored 28328 points and grabs the fourth spot.
Vellamo 2.0 HTML5
It managed to score 1860 points in the Vellamo 2 HTML5 browser benchmark.
Vellamo 2.0 Metal
It scored 777 points in the Vellamo 2 Metal CPU subsystem performance test.
Linpack Single Thread
It managed to clock around 132.2 MFLOPS in the Linpack single thread benchmark.
It managed to clock around 281.5 MFLOPS in the Linpack Multi-Thread benchmark.
It clocked 55 fps in the NenaMark 2 GPU benchmark.
Basemark X 1.0 HD (Onscreen)
It clocked around 13.1 fps in the Basemark X 1.0 OnScreen benchmark and grabs the second spot, behind the Desire 820.
Basemark X 1.0 HD (Offscreen)
It clocked 6.34 fps in the Basemark X 1.0 OffScreen benchmark and grabs the third spot.
Basemark OS II
It grabs the second spot in the Basemark OS II benchmark with 815 points, better than the Desire 820. The benchmark scores of the YU YUREKA is pretty good.
