After Amazon, Oppo India partners with Flipkart to sell its smartphones online

Oppo India has entered into a partnership with Flipkart to sell its smartphones, including its flagship Oppo Find 7 smartphone. Oppo tied up with Amazon India last month to sell its smartphones online. The Oppo Find 7, its current flagship was launched in India back in June for Rs. 37,990 and it launched the N1 Mini smartphone recently. All its smartphones that has been launched in India are available on Flipkart starting today, August 26th.

Commenting on the partnership, Tom Lu, CEO, OPPO Mobiles India, said

We have been striving to come closer to our customers and become a part of the society. With more and more consumers going online, having a digital presence has become a must. Flipkart is definitely one of the most popular shopping platforms with a very loyal customer base and by partnering with them, we are sure OPPO’s smartphones will reach out to more customers. With our products, Indian customers will get a chance to experience the best in innovation, the way many customers have enjoyed globally.

It currently operates in 12 major cities including, New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Kolkata, Pune and Lucknow. By partnering with online retailer, Oppo is increasing its pan-India footprint.

It recently said that it plans to open over 200 service centers across India in the next one year and launch about 10 products priced below Rs 10,000 to around Rs 40,000 by the end of the year.
