Xiaomi has launched Mi Air Purifier 2, its first Mi Ecosystem product in India at an event in Delhi, as expected. It has built-in WiFi 802.11n that connects to your home WiFi network so that you can access it via Mi Home app for Android and iOS.
You can Switch modes, Power on/off, Adjust speed and more using the app. It has Smart learning that learns daily patterns and remembers your preferred settings. Night mode for when you sleep, Auto mode for mornings, and power off when you leave home. It operates very quietly at 30dB in the night mode.
It has 3-layered filter that promises to remove 99.99% of PM2.5 particles and produces about 10,000 liters with Clean Air Delivery Rate of 330m3/h in standard mode and 338m3/h in active mode.

Air Purifier. Despite this, it still offers a high 310m3/h Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) and takes just 10 minutes to circulate purified air in a 21m2 room. It has new air pressurization system that includes axial fan, brushless DC motor and a Francis fan design and conical duct.

The Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2 is priced at Rs. 9999 and will be available from Mi.com from September 26th at 12PM. It will also be available on Flipkart from October 2nd. Replacement filter costs Rs. 2499, which has about 6-month lifespan based on your use.
