Leaked renders reveal Microsoft’s upcoming Lumia flagships

Microsoft Nokia Talkman Cityman 1

Its been known for a while that Microsoft has two new Lumia handsets lined up for later this year. The Cityman and Talkman, also known as the Lumia 950, 950 XL are believed to be the torchbearers for Redmond’s new mobile optimized operating system. Fresh leaks give us a better look at the phone.

An image showed up in a German podcast today morning showing a Microsoft Cityman handset connected to a gadget termed as the wizard. The latter will enable Continuum features in tandem with the new Windows handsets, allow users to get a full fledged PC like experience by connecting the phone to a screen and enabling, keyboard & mouse control.

Responding to the leak, prolific leaker Evan Bass (@evleaks) then pushed a high resolution render of not just the Cityman but the Talkman as well. The phones show devices that generally correspond to the leaks we’re already aware of and should sport quite a slim profile given the marginal camera hump at the back. The larger of the two ie the Cityman will support the Surface Pen and will let you jot down notes, make caricatures etc using the pen.
